We have news we're proud of: the Part-IS Familiarisation Training for Cybersecurity course, offered by Edkore, is approved by EASA, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. It's a recognition that confirms our program meets European training standards in the field of aviation cybersecurity.
Civil aviation is becoming ever more connected, and as it digitizes, the attack surface grows. EASA certification shows we've built a program that meets the demands of this field.
What EASA certification means
EASA is the European Union authority responsible for civil aviation safety. EASA certification of a training program confirms that it covers the relevant regulatory requirements and is delivered to a standard recognized across Europe. For aviation organizations this matters: staff training must be aligned with the regulatory framework, not improvised.
The link to EASA Part-IS
European regulations now require aviation organizations to systematically manage information security risks, through the framework known as EASA Part-IS (Regulations (EU) 2022/1645 and 2023/203). Our course prepares professionals and organizations to understand and implement these requirements, from risk assessment and protecting critical systems to detecting, reporting and responding to incidents.
Who the course is for
The course is aimed at civil aviation professionals and organizations: air operators, airports, air navigation service providers (ANSPs), maintenance organizations (MROs), and security and compliance officers. It is delivered in sessions, in English, anywhere in the world.
